Ayin is the ability to see. One must be able to look at others with a good eye, judging everyone favorably. It is also the ability to see the 70 facets of Torah. It is the gift of a higher perspective, as in seeing the divine providence in our lives and connecting it to our daily duties. This connection is demonstrated by the form of the Ayin which is formed by two Vavs, the letter of connection.
The letter Ayin symbolizes a deep thinker. They have inner-depth and retain a sense of mystery. They know both how to give and receive. They are inclined towards anger and falling victim.
