Burde Silversmiths was founded in the heart of the old city of Safed, Israel (also known as Zefat, Tsfat, or Tzvat) in 2004. The artist, Josh Burde, designs and creates silver and gold jewelry and Judaica representative of the teachings learnt in many Kabbalistic texts. Additional craftsmen, working under the direction of Josh, expand the scope of perspective and technique here at Burde Silversmiths. In conjunction with the line of distinct Hebrew letter jewelry and handcrafted Judaica, Burde Silversmiths is also involved in numerous special projects. Aside from custom work, the Third Temple Model, now exhibited in two locations in America and Israel, displays the intricate metal work done by Josh.
